Ground Skink

This little guy is about as big as he gets (3-5 inches).  Known as little ground skink, it is notably the smallest lizard species to exist.  Although I haven’t had much luck finding them at Hemlock, they apparently exist there.  This one was captured, photgraphed, then released near Tidewater Virginia Labor Day weekend  2005.
