Wild Shrubs along Clifton’s Creek

Some very cool shrubs in Clifton fruiting right now. One is the Strawberry Bush Euonymus americanus  and a Maple Leaf Viburnum Viburnum acerifolium.  See if you can tell which is which.  Near by is a member of the olive family called a Fringe Bush.  This plant has pretty white “fringe” like flowers and produces dark purple olive like fruits which I observed in July/August. Will be curious to visit these plants again spring and next summer to see and photograph the flowers.
