My 6th annual field trip to Key Largo. Students from AP Environmental Science Class are exposed to the various coastal habitats of southeast Florida and the keys. During this trip students learn proper snorkeling techniques to help them navigate through the different aquatic environments such as seagrass beds, mangrove swamps, and coral reefs.   Inbetween excursions to these unique ecological areas students enbgage in classroom and lab instruction to help reinforce what they observed in their aquatic field experiences.
